Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is the perfect summer escape and is worth adding to your summer reading list. Reading Garden Spells made me want to run around in floaty, floral dresses, wish for the 4th of July, and plant a magic garden. Below is an outfit inspired by the book.

Who can resist a book that opens with "Every smiley moon, without fail, Claire dreamed of her childhood. She always tried to stay awake those nights when the stars winked and the moon was just a cresting sliver smiling provocatively down at the world, the way pretty women on vintage billboards used to smile as they sold cigarettes and limeade"?
